Our Story

The North Gadsden Community Church started with a group of families that were committed to serving Jesus Christ and bringing His Word to the community of North Gadsden. The church was built in 1988 and was originally named North Gadsden First Congregational Methodist Church.

In February of 2024, the church body voted to rename the church North Gadsden Community Church. We would love the opportunity to meet you and share with you the good news of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!

We Believe:

We believe there is only one true God and that He is the creator and ruler of the universe. We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us in all that it teaches. We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inspired word of God.

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, and was fully God and fully man. He lived without sin, was crucified and physically rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will personally return.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The members are those who by faith trust in the finished work of Christ for their salvation. The Church is not the building where we gather, it’s the people of God glorifying Him by loving Him, loving others, and by making Him known to all people.
